The Torah is the five books of Moses (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy). The Torah can also include the rest of the Tenakh(old testament) and the books of the hot Testament, in that they are graven images continued revelation/instruction. The Torah has commandments in it that exercise only to those living in the land of Israel. It also has rules that agree only to the priests, and others solely for the High Priest. The Torah is Gods instruction on how those who place their trust in Him are to live, so that all(a) will be well with them. (Deuteronomy 4:40). To the Jews, the Torah is the ultimate chat device between God and mankind. It is not a history, even off though it does tell us of our history. Nor is it a legal code, though this Torah calls us to obedience. The Torah is the guide to the very universe itself, a map to the very forces of the universe. Jews check the Torah to find the intent and purpose of the talking to so that ones motivation and lifestyle can produce level best harmony and prosperity. Jews consider the Torah to be a gift from God and a guide for living.
The Torah is the main focus of Jewish faith, and is use on all days of religious observance: all Sabbath and holiday, and for some extremely observant Jews, every day.
