The Mirror by Sylvia Plath

The reverberate is a poem pen by Sylvia Plath in 1961. This poem is a representation of what is going on in Silvias career. She is approximately twenty-nine geezerhood old when she writes this poem, which means that she is entering her middle age. Silvias reluctance of her aging in this difficult ingredient of life proves to be crucial to the memorial of the poem. Most of the poems from her last historic period are full of sombreness and melancholy, due to her sorrow for her atomic number 91s death, and the abandonment of her save for another woman. The Mirror is the exposition of a womans aging and reality; the reflect is the personification of loyalty, because it reflects the real expression of the woman, but she does not buy up her reflection since she has lost her youth.\nAt the beginning of the poem, the author describes the reverberate as valuable and honest. It reflects the beingness as it is. The beginning introduces the childly part of the womans life as w ell. In the first line, the reflect says, I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.[CITATION Syl p 1-2 n y t l 1033 ]. The mirror creates a sense of importance, because it is silver, which means that it has cost and is unique for the woman. Also it is not wrong, because it reflects the reality impartially. In improver to this, the author uses a simile to describe the mirror as The eye of a lowly god[CITATION Syl p 6 n y t l 1033 ], which means truth. The mirror never gives a formu posthumous reflection to the woman, and she realizes the hard truth of her new old fashion when she looks at herself through the mirror. In the seventh and eighth lines of the poem, the mirror says, It is sound, with speckles. I have looked at it so long I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.[CITATION Syl p 7-8 n y t l 1033 ]. The mirror describes what it is reflecting: a pink wall with speckles can be related with a raw woman room. This mirror has been at that place for long t ime. Basical...\nPage 1 of 4 Next >\n cogitate Essays:\n1.
